The staff at Appi Crown Plaza were very helpful and accomodating. The onsen was great, and the breakfast/dinner buffet had great options. Korean BBQ restaurant was really enjoyable. The room has windows which open and a heater which can be switched off, so the heating can be regulated. The hotel shop has a good variety of snacks, local delicacies and sake. The ski resort ia right outside. The rooms are definitely retro but the price is very reasonable, so perhaps a total refurbishment would make the resort less affordable.

The hotel has a wide variety of restaurants for dinner but since we came during the peak season we had huge difficulty in booking the restaurant that we like. Luckily their staff Anesh was super helpful in helping to resolve our problems. With the great help from Anesh and their restaurant manager, we managed to try their different restaurants which are all very nice 👍🏻Thank you Anesh and 米田克利🙏🙏

Outdoor onsen is beautiful, and the hotel offers shops for souvenirs, skiing gear etc. under one roof. Room upgrade to Semi Suite with mountain view was very reasonable priced.
